in my quest to take breaks from banging out a story today, i looked at 
the Guiness Book of World Records and found several neat records 
involving bikes. let's see, how can the tri-dod get in there?

two 91 cu in harley motors.

<li>fastest quarter: 7.08 seconds on a 1,200 kawi.

<li>highest terminal velocity in a quarter: 199.55 mph.

<li>longest continuous time a bike has been kept in non-stop motion: 19,241 
mi on a honda 100cc machine in india.

<li>trans-american coast to coast record: 43 hours, 17 mins. (at a 
conservative 2,500 miles, that's an _average_ of about 58 mph.)

<li>biggest pyramid: 81 men, nine motorcycles, no straps, harnesses or aids; 
they went 328 yards.

<li>longest wheelie: 205.7 miles on a honda tlm 200.

<li>highest speed wheelie: 157.87 mph on a gsxr 1100.

<li>two-wheel sidecar riding: 210.5 miles.

<li>most people on a single machine: 46, on a 1000cc machine.

<li>longest ramp jump: 251 feet on a honda cr500.

<li>they did not have a listing for fastest lap around the raleigh beltline.
